My name is Bibhor Bista. I completed my Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Institute of Engineering, Thapathali Campus in 2023. I worked as a GIS Intern for Galli Maps for six months where I got to learn the basics of GIS and GIS tools. Currently, I am working as a drone pilot and engineer for Airlift Technology where my major role involves flying drones, generating high-resolution orthomosaics, DEMs and contours. Apart from my professional experience, I have also authored a few research articles. Topics on urban planning, photogrammetry, environmental management, sustainability, disaster risk reduction and management excite me but my major research interest lies in combining remote sensing with water resource analysis to produce insightful and impactful studies that can solve real-world water related problems.
