I am a PhD student in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geomatic Engineering at University College London. My research investigates the drivers of climate mobility in communities affected by natural hazards. Under the supervision of Prof. Carmine Galasso and Dr. Gemma Cremen, I am currently working on developing a disaster risk reduction framework for climate mobility that can help explain how climate-related disasters influence household migration decisions. I am planning to use Nepal as a case study to test my framework and develop a predictive model for climate mobility to inform policy decisions in hazard-affected communities. Prior to my PhD, I worked as a research assistant at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change & the Environment (LSE) conducting research on natural capital accounting in the Congo Basin. I have an MSc in Social Research Methods from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a BA in War Studies and Philosophy from King’s College London.
