Jasna Budhathoki (she/her) graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a Bachelor's degree (major in Computer Science and minor in Statistics) in 2023. Since then, she has been working at Origin Investments as a Data Scientist and Software Engineer, where she has held diverse roles ranging from building predictive machine learning models to full-stack engineering. She also served as a Product Manager on Omdena’s project, where she led a team of 60 engineers to develop AI tools that measure the representation of women, youth, and marginalized groups in Nepali media.
She will begin her Master’s degree in Computer Science with a Machine Learning track at Columbia University in Fall 2024. Jasna is passionate about using AI/ML to address challenging problems in the world today, including the impacts of climate change.
