Hi, I am Ojaswee Amgain, a final-year undergraduate student of forestry science. I am pursuing my degree at Kathmandu Forestry College, IOF, TU. Someone passionate about youth advocacy and power, I define myself as an enthusiastic youth wanting to bring about change. I love indulging in advocacies, volunteering, and learning, as it makes me feel empowered. I have volunteered for climate organizations and actively participated in youth-centric climate advocacy events. Participated in many capacity-building sessions and groomed me to be a leader, I am confident in my capacity to advocate for climate issues. Being a student of Forestry Science studies, my love for the environment grew profoundly, leading me to dig deeper, and introducing a passion for research inside me. I am doing my thesis research on ecosystem-based adaptation and aim to continue research to expand and continue working on climate issues. Currently, as a passionate advocate for climate action and research, I am fully committed to leveraging my enthusiasm and expertise to drive significant progress in addressing the crucial challenges of our time. Whether through academic pursuits, grassroots activism, or collaborative research endeavors, I remain dedicated to creating a more sustainable and resilient future for generations to come.
