I am a researcher & ethnographer trained in Sociology & Social Anthropology at St. Xavier's College, LSE, & The University of Oslo with a focus on questions of development, culture and political economy. Since 2022, I have been researching waste practices and urban waste infrastructures and the different future-making projects they inspire in primarily the North Western Himalayan region of India. I am keen on exploring creative, immersive and accessible ways of communicating academic research, especially research on climate change and environmental struggles, beyond the written form through walking methods, sketches, podcasts and visual installations. Currently, I am contributing to the Gender Equality, Social Equity and Poverty Initiative at The Stockholm Research Institute, Asia.
