Prabal Dahal graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Kathmandu Engineering College, Tribhuvan university in 2018 and became a licensed architect under Nepal Engineering Council in 2019. After gaining a wide range of architectural experience in national and international projects, he pursued a Master of Science in Urban Planning at Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk Campus in 2022 in an effort to understand architecture through a larger lens. Skilled in drafting reports and presentations, he also dedicates his energy towards learning about systems and engaging with the people he serves. He has worked in various national and International urban planning projects including drafting of National Housing and Building Policy of Nepal, creating Urban Resilience Roadmap of several municipalities for UNDP at National Institute for Urban and Reslience Studies, and evaluating GEF funded UrbanShift Global Platform program. Academically, he has always stayed at the top 1% of the class and professionally, he distinguishes himself with his efficiency, diligence, and attention to details. When he is not working, you can find him reading, cooking, or hiking through the hills of Shivapuri where he currently lives.
