A graduate of conflict, peace, and development studies, Rajendra Sharma is passionate in the various concerns surrounding climate change and how it affects people, particularly when it comes to the conflictual viewpoints that they come across. He primarily focuses on environmental justice and peacebuilding.
He works at the independent think tank- Social Science Baha, which is based in Kathmandu and conducts a variety of collaborative research projects on topics like disasters, Mobility, governance, climate change and others.
In a similar vein, he is currently heading the peace education movement in the Kathmandu Valley and serves as secretary of the Peace Education Network Nepal, both of which support girls' education.
