I am Sabin Gyawali permanently from Palpa, Nepal. I am a Master’s student of Anthropology at TU, doing my thesis now. Having studied a Bachelor's in food science and technology I came to the arts of anthropology to dwell more into the social and cultural aspects of life. Food; within all this is integral like a subject that cross-cuts science and technology and culture. The constant search of comfort in storytelling, the desire to say it as much as I feel about it made me understand that language of human expression remains foundational to any vocation. Literature (both academic and non-academic), poems and visual expressions have been close to me in that. What I saw and wanted to tell, I constantly experimented with different mediums to express. Recently I have come across photographs to dwell into the intangible of things.I am currently involved in independent research of multiple subjects longitudinally; current scene Bird’s eye chili availability and Chyasi (a blueberry), ethnography of Tinau river, and food socialization. Recently I have been working in ethnography of 16-36 Mauja as my master's dissertation. Working in Research paradigm has always given me curiosity and pleasure. I am looking forward to materialize ideas for need of the times and learn.
