I have a Masters degree in Anthropology from the Kohima Science College, Jotsoma. I have an interest in environmental issues, culture and religious studies. During an internship at the Highland Institute, Kohima, Nagaland, I have taken part in organising exhibitions which involved data collection, analysis and academic writing. In Bachelors and Masters programmes, as a part of the coursework, I carried out research related to tourism, COVID-19 impacts, village economy, and indigenous religion and medicine. Currently, I am a part of the Earthkeepers Project funded by International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada, documenting traditional ecological knowledge and perceptions of climate change along the Myanmar-Nagaland border to facilitate the opening of channels for dialogue about climate justice and food security.
